Frequently Asked Questions

Why Choose BREATHE Pelvic Therapy and Fitness?

Opting for BREATHE Pelvic Therapy means receiving holistic care that treats your body as a whole, rather than just a diagnosis code. Unlike insurance-based physical therapy, which often limits visits and treatments, our approach includes comprehensive wellness and preventative care. While insurance co-pays can quickly add up to $25-$50 per visit, our personalized treatment plans typically meet goals in fewer sessions, saving you money in the long run. We prioritize your best interests, addressing dysfunction and pain effectively and efficiently.

Does your practice take insurance?

Breathe Pelvic Therapy and Fitness is a out-of-network provider. For those insurances we do not currently accept, you may still receive reimbursement through a superbill. Please reach out under "Contact Us" to ask specific questions or contact your insurance company for more information.

What do I wear to my Pelvic Therapy appointment?

Please wear comfortable, loose clothing that you can move freely in and feel good about. A comfortable top and wide-legged pants with an elastic waistband are a great choice!

Do I need a doctor’s referral to see the pelvic floor specialist?

No in the state of Massachusetts you do not need a pelvic referral to see a physical therapist. Massachusetts has direct practice, and you can schedule directly with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

What is the frequency of visits?

When do I pay for my Pelvic Physical Therapy visit?

Please pay for your visit prior to time of service, this will ensure you have the appropriate forms filled out and are registered for your scheduled visit.
